Spot Breakout

Over the last month or so my skin has had a mass spot breakout. I have never been a 'spotty' person and usually only have the occasional 1 or 2. My fCe skin and hair has also felt a lot more oily since about 6 weeks. Has anyone found a good face wash (or cleansing routine) to combat this? Confused

I'm the same my skin and hair gets ridiculously awful when I am pregnant (actually its normally one of the reasons I think to test) I have just been washing my face with water and emolient cream but, as of yet, unfortunately it's done nothing to help. Unfortunately hormones are the main reason that this is happening to us. Once baby has come it goes back to normal. Just try not to touch and\or pop them and wash your hair as normal (I've been using dry shampoo on top of normal cleaning as well) xx

Oh and I'm 35 weeks... Can't wait to get back to normal lol x

I'm the same. I have carried on with my usual cleanse tone moisturise routine but also use this powder every day...really cheap and helps to get rid of excess oils, transparent colour also means it's fine on any skin type

Take at least 50mg of Vitamin B6 daily. This was the advice of my OB when this happened to me.

I spent a lot of money on different face washes and toners and otc acne products before asking my doctor. Nothing helped except the B6.

Thanks. I use a loose powder over my foundation already but try to have make up free days if I'm not at work. I will try the vit b6. To be fair, they have gone down slightly since I used a heated face mask

Hey sepa I was the same and the only thing that eased and got rid of the spots and dry skin for me was Silcocks Base I used it as my body wash and moisturiser it worked great I still use it now that my skin is clear as im afraid of breaking out again I was the same as you never a spotty person until I became pregnant. The joys of pregnancy best of luck
