Pain in the rib

Hi I'm 24 weeks and around 14 weeks I had terrible pain in my lower left rib. I bought new bras (too big and didn't like them) and bra extenders and the pain disappeared for a few weeks, but the last few days back with a vengeance. I'm still wearing regular underwired bras with an extender, is this my problem? Anyone else had this?

I had this in my last pregnancy and was told it was baby ... Maybe a foot or even the way it prefers to lie in the womb causing pressure on the rib .... Really painful and not much you can do, when my bump dropped it did get better and thankfully this time I've had no rib pain what so ever . Hope you feel better soon

I've been told that it can be caused by the ribs stretching during pregnancy (well, the cartilidge that holds them together). I get it when I'm standing up to do the washing up, which should mean that I don't have to do the washing up but I'm on my own so stuck with it ha bloody ha.
