We're you well, happy, relaxed, happy to host a big event such as Christmas?

I'm 36 weeks and have been awake on and off since 3.30am as I haven't been able to sleep for what feels like months. If today was Xmas day I wouldnt want to go anywhere let alone have people over - but maybe I'm a grump! (more than likely) xx

I was still teaching fitness classes..but had DD at 38+0 so cutting it fine

I developed pre-eclampsia and was rushed into hospital to be induced at 37 weeks. So I didn't feel good and I wouldn't have wanted to host a big event obviously! It was all so sudden and shocking tbh my mental health 22 months later isn't fantastic. So yeah just be aware although some ladies may have felt they could climb a mountain at 37 weeks that is definitely not always the case.

I am pregnant again 29 weeks along and this time from 32 weeks I am on standby - no big events and no going too far from home!

at 37 weeks with DS1 I could have done it easily.
at 37 weeks with DD nope, I was way too tired.
at 37 weeks with DS2 I was suffering with severe SPD and couldn't physically move without help. I couldn't even make it to the downstairs toilet without someone to lift me from the couch and crutches for the ten steps or so, then I would need help up off the loo. etc, so nope no way would I have done Christmas!
