Hi all,
I'm 8 weeks pregnant and I was sitting at my desk half hour ago when I noticed sharp pain, thought it was just a twitch and then it was so intense, nothing of the norm like a period pain, much worse. I felt something wet, so I went to the loo and I'm bleeding thick mucusy blood, similar to that of a period but more clotty and still in lots of pain.

What should I do? I phoned for a midwife service a few days after finding out, and haven't heard anything back, so can't contact them and I don't know what to do! Contact a midwife, hospital or 111? Should I wait to see if it stops?

I know I sound ridiculous but I haven't a clue, this is my first pregnancy at 17. I'm usually rather knowledgable, but have lost all wits about me and I'm in shock here sitting at my desk at work.

Please, any advice would be appreciated. I know Mumsnet are quick with replies ð??¢
