Hi all,

I'm 15 weeks pregnant, and have a tiny baby belly- probably not perceivable to anyone other than me and the husband, but it's there none the less.

It's causing a drama when dressing for work as everything is feeling uncomfortably snug. I've got a couple of maternity dresses but they're huge at the moment (seriously- rent a tent!).

What have you done about dressing for work? Should I just buy stuff a dress size up, or are there any suggestions as to what pieces are easy to wear while transitioning to full bloom bumpage?

buy some trousers a size up with a forgiving waistband. You can wear them after the baby is born at first too. Also a hair elastic round my fly button and looped through the hole allowed me to keep wearing several pairs of trousers for longer! And longer floaty tops. Congrats!

Second the elastic hair band to keep your normal trouser up. I found trousers/skirts more of a problem than tops.
Wrap tops and dresses work very well, as they expand with your waist line, and you can adjust them as needed. Long floaty cardigans, and the obligatory long scarf Smile

M&S do wide leg trousers with elasticated waists for £25. They are sooo comfy Smile
I have spent most of my pregnancy in maxi dresses or skater dress/leggings

I'm 36 weeks and mostly living in Jersey maxi dresses.

For work I used to wear Jersey tube skirts which weren't maternity with a maternity top. The skirt waist band was pulled up over my bump with the top over it. Worked ok for me!

I also bought a pair of black trousers from jojo and a pair of maternity chinos from h&m at around 20 weeks.

Found I needed something with more breathing room for sitting at a desk all day from around 12 weeks, so bought two pairs of maternity trousers from h&m in my regular size... couldn't fit in them by around 20 weeks though and wish I'd gone up a size.

I'm nearly 17 weeks and I have a full on bump! I've not fitted in normal clothes for ages. Second the tube skirts and leggings.

I've also got a quite nice stretchy black skirt from JoJo with adjustable panel and just ordered some work trousers and a dress from ASOS.

ASOS has by far got the biggest and best selection
