Hi I'm currently 7+2 weeks pregnant. I had a bleed last week, some bright red blood but mostly brownish discharge. Had a scan at 6 weeks and they found baby's heartbeat. Tuesday the bleeding started up again, just a brownish discharge this time. I have had very severe morning sickness, vomiting 10-15 times a day and on Monday the doc put me on cyclizine tablets. Tuesday I was still very poorly but yesterday and so far today I have been ok, just mild nausea and a distinct lack of appetite. Still the occasional heaving session but no vomit. (Apologies if TMI). Anyway I'm trying to tell myself I'm feeling better because of the tablets but with the bleed I'm scared that I'm actually miscarrying again. (I've previously lost two) and that my hcg is decreasing which is why I'm feeling less sick. Has anyone else had such a dramatic improvement on tablets for morning sickness?

I have HG and 25 weeks and still being sick. Cyclizine works by having a build up in your system so the first few days you would have felt much of an effect from them but after they build up in your body you will stArt to feel better. I'm on cyclizine and ondansetron as cyclizine wasn't strong enough on its own. Please be Assured the tablets are working x good luck

Wouldn't have felt*

Thank you for your reply. I think it's safe to say that my sickness is still in full force and the tablets are just easing it as I just got quite sick with no warning whatsoever. Maybe that's the effect the cyclizine will have on me. I just can't help but worry after two miscarriages and with the slight bleed every little thing is scary.

I understand I had 4 miscArriages before this. And no the tablets definitely do not take the sickness away I still throw up even with the tablets but it eases it slightly. At the start of this pregnancy I had a bleed and also an ovarian cyst ruptured which hospitalized me for a week. Please be assured that you scan had a heartbeat and your still having symptoms. Unless u have more bleeding or pain I would say your little bean is OK. I'm now 25 weeks despite everything that happened at the start. Please have faith even though it's easier said than done x

I'm very glad things are going ok for you. You must have been really scared with everything that happened at the start of the pregnancy. I'm keeping my fingers firmly crossed that everything is ok but we will see. I have another early scan on Monday. I don't know how to feel about it. It will be good if it's reassuring but one of my miscarriages was missed so I'm very scared of getting there and being told there's no heartbeat. Did you have any tests done to find out why you had so many miscarriages?
