Hi

I'm 6 weeks 4 days pg. Had a missed miscarriage in Sept at 11 weeks (baby died at 8), I didnt have any syptoms with last pg.

This time I have had really nasty nausea all of last week and sore boobs. Today I feel entirely normal. No nausea, boobs less sore. I'm really worried as when I miscarried I didn't 'feel' pregnant so I was happy that this time I felt sick. Now it's all gone awaw I am scared.

Please help

Hi scubes.....don;t know what to suggest.....if your EPU are open..might be worth a call....they could arrange a scan. however, the symptoms can be intermittent...some women sick for a few days, then not at all for a while..or some women never ever have any early symptoms.

you are likely to be more tuned in this time as you are expecting the worst due to your missed miscarriage....

sorry to not be more help. but not a lot to be done really at this stage...xx

Hi Scubes. I had a very similar thing happen to me with DD1 after 2 m/cs. I woke up around 6/8 weeks (after having the most terrible sickness)
and felt absolutely normal, not a hint of nausea. I cried all the way to work convinced I had m/c again. They sent me home and I went to EPU and was scanned. To cut a long story short, all was well, the nausea came back the next day, and DD is a thriving 12 year old!!

Good luck and fingers crossed.xx
Agree with Lulu. try EPU.XX

Reading this I feel the same. I have had two m/c this year and this time I have sore boobs and waves of nausea. (More than I had with the other two) Sometimes the nausea isn't really there at all and I begin to panic. But it comes back at a time it doesn't normally and I feel better. This morning boobs don't feel as sore but I have a slight feeling of nausea so I'm clinging on to that.
I think that symptoms don't come everyday. Sometimes they are bad sometimes barely noticeable. Unless you have bad pain or bleeding I'd just take each day as it comes. Maybe the symptoms will be back tomorrow.

Thanks everyone.

Still no pg symptoms but have got lower back pain which is how last mscarriage started. We're going to EPU in the morning as its not open at weekends. I am willing everything to be OK but I just dont feel pregnant anymore and it's very sad.

I'll let you know how we get on.
Typhoonsmum - how pregnant are you?

pg symptoms do tend to come and go.Depends on the hormone levels good luck.

I'm 5 weeks. The symptoms seem to be ok today tho. I think I was being paranoid. Good luck at the EPU and i hope everything is ok.

Hi

Had scan this morning, all fine, baby had heartbeat and is right size for dates. I am reassured for now even though symptoms haven't returned. We lost our last baby at 8 weeks and am currently 7 weeks pg.

I think it's the saddest thing about miscarriage - that it makes us paranoid and inevitably worry about all the little things.

We continue to hope things carry on going well.

TM - thoughts are with you, do message on here if you need reassurance.

good news scubes..seeing the heartbeat is a reassurance....it is more than natural to be so concerned after a previous loss...and to you and TM - wishing you both happy & healthy pregnancies xx

Snowstorm · 27/11/2006 14:33

That's fantastic news Scubes! Try and relax a bit about your pregnancy, I know that's much easier said then done as I miscarried my first pregnancy within the same time frame as you and consequently spent most of my second pregnancy (which went full term) feeling incredibly nervous every time my mind dared to swing towards the negative. I was told by my midwives though that if they see a good heartbeat at 6 weeks then it is a very good sign and therefore chances of an early miscarriage are unlikely - I've also read that on some of the other posts so be encouraged by that and try and relax and enjoy your pregnancy, particularly if this is your first baby, as you don't get an opportunity to do that with subsequent pregnancies . Best of luck for a healthy and happy one!

awww fantastic news

weesmiles · 28/11/2006 13:03

Good news Scubes, all pregnancies are different. As my mum told me when I fell pregnant for every good stories you hear, you'll hear 10 bad! Stay positive and strong, I suffered terrible sickness in fact the definition must have been morning, afternoon, evening and night sickness! But my friend had nothing, not even nausea, lucky thing. Enjoy your time, sick and soreless free as your hard work will come soon enough. All the best

Scubes · 28/11/2006 15:09

Thanks

I have literally just come home from work and thrown up ( now I'm on here telling you all

I am guessing it's the bean making me sick but I have eaten a lot of glacier mints today as well!!

I am willing this baby to be strong, never have I willed for anything like this in my life.

Thanks for the encouragement x

Fantastic news Scubes!!!!

I bet you've never been so glad to be sick!

Big hugs and congratulations.XX

Troutpout · 28/11/2006 17:13

Aww good luck..i remember those paranoid feelings very well.

bethoo · 07/01/2007 03:46

if you feel that you need that extra reassurance i would invest in a doppler as they detect the heartbeat. it takes a while to get used to and do not fret if you cannot find it straightaway as it takes time. i got one after two m/c and now i do nto need to use it as he kicks and wriggles every day! but it was good to use when i was paraniod or did not want to wait for my next mw app.
