After seeing someone else noting what they had eaten today I though we could start an official food log (just for fun for many it may be a confessional) ð???
I have eaten so far:
Shreddies
Cheese and marmite sandwich
Dried fruit
Two bananas

I like this idea.

Crunchie Nut Cornflakes
Fruit pot - oranges, strawbs, apple, grapes
Spaghetti carbonara
500ml of no added sugar squash so far

I intend on having a 5 piece fruit selection and a punnet of raspberries before I leave work as I wont get in until 8.30pm tonight... think it will probably be another bowl of crunchy nut after that!

Btw - MARMITE?????? But that's a whole new thread....

blondiejess1982 · 18/08/2015 16:02

Check out all the fruit! You put me to shame. Wink Marmite is heaven. I don't know what I will eat later, I am feeling so sick that I am finding it hard. Bleaugh

I seem to have gone off vegetables a bit so I am making up for the lack of them! Although I do like fruit!

God, I have only felt normal for the past 2 weeks, if you had asked me to do a food diary for the first 16 weeks, I wouldn't have dared.... How far along are you?

blondiejess1982 · 18/08/2015 16:42

You know I am exactly the same, veg is ugh but fruit I am feeling okay with. Normally I am more into veg than fruit. I am only 8.5 weeks and have never felt more ill in my life! Not that I mind of course. Smile How far along are you? I ate super noodles last night and they tasted amazing !

Overnight oats
Salad, cottage cheese and Rivita
Berries and greek yog
Banana
Handful of nuts and dried fruit
Veggy stew and rice
Yoghurt

Same for me- if this was a few months ago would have read chips, toast, chips, chips Shock

Doublebubblebubble · 18/08/2015 20:35

Have had a naughty day today - spd (blaming this s nothing else to blame really) has got me down

1 x massive bowl of Shreddies with sugar (semi skimmed milk)
Cup of tea
OJ pure
Cheesey chips and cheese burger for lunch
OJ pure
Luxury hot chocolate
Fish and chips
2 x frubes
1 blueberry muffin
1 x tropical juice pure
2 x chocolate icecream cones

That's it so far - I will definitely get hungry later though...

Will go back to the boring salads tomorrow.

Also, marmite....no, just no!!!!!

Doublebubblebubble · 18/08/2015 20:39

Also, I'm 33 weeks xx

GothicRainbow · 18/08/2015 20:44

I'm 8.5 weeks too. Today I've had:

2 slices of toast with dairy free choc spread
Glass of water
Packet of Royston's T-bone steak crisps
Glass of water
2 gherkins
Decaf coffee
Chicken in black bean & egg fried rice ready meal.

Blimey I need to eat some fruit for my evening snack I think!!

GothicRainbow · 18/08/2015 20:45

I also have a stash of chicken super noodles in the cupboard as they are the perfect 'I don't feel like dinner' dinner

blondiejess1982 · 18/08/2015 20:50

Seriously I am feeling so sick right now I have no clue what I am going to eat, I have been putting off my evening meal due to this. The nausea is hard work Sad

OP posts:
GothicRainbow · 18/08/2015 22:50

It's so awful, some evenings I'm not eating until half 9/10 at night once I've decided what the hell I fancy!

Although at the moment I'm finding lunch time is the worst, feel so exhausted once I've got my toddler to nap that I can't be arsed to make anything - hence the crisps!

Right now I'm eating more gherkins!

mrslebon · 18/08/2015 22:56

OMG, this is going to be shameful...

Bowl of Bran Flakes with some sultanas thrown in
Redbush tea x 2
Child's brioche (well DS was having one, so I had one too)
Heinz spaghetti on granary toast (shared with DS)
Decaff latte and flapjack while DS asleep in car
Chocolate muffin (absolutely no need for me to have this and felt bloated afterwards)
Salmon and broccoli tagliatelle for dinner (DS's fave)
One tiny Celebration choc (didn't need it)
Water

sarkymare · 19/08/2015 00:05

Today I had:

  • a bowl of chocolate and hazelnut pillow shaped cereal.
  • a bag of ready salted crisps
  • a ham sandwhich with another bag of crisps
  • 2 pork pies
  • a handful of fruit salad and black jack sweets
  • a small plate of green Thai curry
  • a small slice of fresh strawberry flan with cream
  • 4 squares of dairy milk whole but chocolate.

Gosh my diet is bad. Usually it's better, slightly. I'm 31 weeks and have been very very sick throughout so far, only managing the equivalent of half a sandwhich a day if that until very recently. I think I'm just enjoying being able to eat now and after months of constant vomiting and bland tasteless foods, vegetables etc are quite low down on my to eat list.

I do intend to have a selection of fruit, some toast and a smoothie for breakfast tomorrow instead of my usual delicious sugary shit cereal. Perhaps that will make up for the cream crackers and cheese I'm just about to eat now? Grin

GothicRainbow · 19/08/2015 12:43

Sarky your food sounds awesome! Did you manage fruit this morning? I haven't had fruit salad/black jack sweets in years. Think we'll be making a trip to the sweet shop this afternoon.

I've just had the most amazing lunch, had a toasted bagel with cream cheese, cooked ham and slices gherkins - was soooo good!!

Will definitely try and get some fruit eaten today!

Focusfocus · 19/08/2015 12:53

Porridge (DH makes daily with oats, milk, flaxseeds, ground flaxseeds, honey, sliced banana)

Chicken and peppers with mixed veggie rice (leftover from yesterday's cooking), tropicana multivitamin juice

Dinner will be chicken curry with rice and carrots

Dessert is always milk with mother's Horlicks (sent from home country, made by DH)

Cups of fennel or raspberry leaf tea over the day.

glitterbomb80 · 19/08/2015 13:40

Breakfast - overnight oats with chia seeds and sliced banana

2 x homemade oatmeal and raisin biscuits

Lunch - Chickpea and lentil stew with toasted flatbreads

Dinner will be a risotto with fennel, lemon and broccoli. Will probably have an extra bowl of cereal mid afternoon before walking the dog.

I always eat better when working from home. I ate my own bodyweight in cheap chocolate yesterday due to a slightly frantic day of meetings, I am trying to make up for it today.

sarkymare · 19/08/2015 14:46

gothic I did! I had strawberries, grapes, a kiwi, some watermelon and some pineapple. This was swiftly followed by my sugary shit cereal because I could hear it calling me from the kitchen cupboard Wink

I got the black jacks and fruit salad from poundland. It's the first time i have seen them anywhere in years! Not a bad sized bag either and although they do taste slightly different to how I remember them they are not total imposters. Now if they had some highland toffee too I think I would have cried with joy!

Glindathegoodwitch · 19/08/2015 15:00

I need to start making these overnight oats, they sound amazing! And all of this food talk is making me hungry. Glad to see that we are all eating well and as we fancy after a torturous is that even a word first few months.

Today :

Crunchy Nut Cornflakes
2 crumpets with real butter
1/2 punnet of raspberries
5 piece fruit selection

Inlaws are cooking tonight, they always cook out of a healthy cookbook so looking forward to something nutritious..

DH brought home a HUGE bar of Dairy Milk last night, I am not sure it will last this evening

mrslebon · 19/08/2015 15:21

So far...

Bran flakes and sultanas
Two marshmallows (lost one in the car)
Avocado on sourdough toast

Later on, I'll be having natural yoghurt with granola and mackerel salad for dinner.

ARV1981 · 21/08/2015 19:41

God. My diet is appalling compared to the rest of you Blush

Scrambled egg on toast
Jam on toast
Porridge
Mug of tea
Strawberry (fake) cornetto
McDonald's chicken and cheddar meal
Flurry
Lots of water

Though today has been particularly bad - I scratched the car (again) in a multi-storey car park Angry which was really upsetting!

ARV1981 · 21/08/2015 19:41

That's supposed to say mcflurry!

MrsPCR · 21/08/2015 19:51

My diet for today:

Baked beans on toast (lasted 5 minutes before coming back up.)

Celery soup and a slice of toast (lasted 10 minutes!)

3pm the real eating started:
Chicken and chorizo soup
Wholemeal pitta dipped in pesto and pecorino dip
Banana and Nutella muffin
Half a punnet of grapes

Dinner was chicken pasta in yellow pepper sauce.

Feels like I've eaten loads but most hasn't stayed. Sad I love reading what others are eating.
