Cheers

I remember being told by my midwife not to use castor oil - but I can't remember why (was a long time ago now!)

I'm sure someone who knows what they're talking about will be around soon, though.

Thanks HumphreyCushion,

My midwife said the same last time but i'm willing to try anything faced with being induced

I'm in a net cafe, so will check back in later and hopefully some nice people will have lent their learned experience to my post!

ciao

nooooooooooooooooooooooooo!!! will give you terrible stomach pains and diaorrhea!! and if it does and you go into labour, tehn you will spend most of the labour on the toilet in pain!

it might well be coincidence that you went into labour the first time..there are other things you can do to try to bring labour on naturally..

nipple stim & sex being the two major ones..the semen contains prostoglandins that help ripen the cervix ...and orgasm can help bring on contractions ! if you are ready to go

ask for a sweep ..that can tip you into labour at 41 + if you are ready anyway..

BUT - babies come when they are ready.! and if you tend to go late with your babies..then they will come later!

nipple stim!

please do not try castor oil !

anything homeopathic & aromatherapy based should be done by a qualified practitioner....xx
