Painful Breast

Hello,

I am 39 weeks pregnant and for the past couple of weeks have been experiencing shooting pains in my left breast. Has anyone else experienced this, could it be the milk coming in?

don;t like leaving you unanswered! as long as no tender, hot , red areas on the breast and you are not feverish...probably nothing sinister...might you have pulled a muscle?!? sorry to not be more help!

The first thing that came into my head was it could be your milk coming in but am in no way in a medical position for it to be confirmed. Give your midwife a call or NHS direct this weekend for some reassurance if you are worried.
Good luck - you don't have far to go now do you?
