34 week consultant appointment?

Hello :)

I have midwife led care but I've been booked in to see a consultant at 34 weeks due to multiple fibroids one of which is huge (12cm)

I just wondered what happened at a 34 week appointment?

They might scan you to see where your fibroids are and whether they'll get in the way of delivery.
I had that last time.my fibroids seem to have disappeared this time!!!

Oh and discuss the injection to speed up your placenta delivery... Can't remember the name, sorry!

I had rather a lot of consultant appointments in my last pregnancy. Generally they consisted of a scan, then a discussion on the results of the scan and plans for the remainder of the pregnancy.
