I had really bad sickness weeks 4-7, but completely changed my diet and that's helped majorly, to the point where at just over 8 weeks I'm worrying the pregnancy has ended....
I graze most the day. Have a pita bread for breakfast, soup about midday, a v small meal (risotto lately) about 4 and then a small dinner. All my food is plain. Anything with dairy in makes me throw up. Any recipe type meals rather than just plain food makes me sick too.
It's a bit boring, but better than being sick! I'm still nauseous so I've started wearing those sea sickness bands which are little miracles. I would definitely recommend them!
I have fruit in between throughout the day, plenty of water and a handful of calcium tablets! Even butter on toast was making me sick.
I have lost about a kilo, but read that the baby doesn't need any food from you until about 13 weeks, which is when it lets you eat! If I'm not hungry, I don't eat and will leave half my dinner if I get full/queasy.
Considering increased appetite is supposedly a symptom of pregnancy, surprised at how little I'm eating now compared to pre-pregnancy!
I agree nausea is worse than being sick. At least there's some relief with being sick!
