Just do one. You don't have to look at it if you're still scared. :)

Are you TTC or hoping you haven't?

Staceyaa · 13/08/2015 22:18

Yes we been TTC, I think I will do one in the morning, I am just puzzled about the spotting :( x

I hope you get a positive result. :)

I would wait a few days, it might be too soon and you may end up disappointed. I spotted with my first and he was fine so it's not always bad news.

Staceyaa · 13/08/2015 22:40

Thankyou Hun, just the waiting is killing me :( also we have got a big celebration this weekend and I would rather know for then just in case :( but nothing saying I will get the results I want! How long did you spot for? Did you get any period pains with it?

I can't remember how long I spotted for. There was no pain at 6 weeks. I did however bleed at 12 and 13 weeks and had bad period pain then. I also spotted at 14 and 16 weeks too. Very stressful but healthy baby in the end. Good luck!

Hi. I had this while ttc, i really do think it's down do you and the way your feeling. I was so desperate for a baby that I would count down the days till my period was due, the be so happy when it didn't, then the next day.. And the next.. Then brown spotting (implantation!?).. then period. I couldn't eat or sleep, socialise without thinking about babies. It's so unhealthy, and it does affect you, so I found. Before ttc my period was normal and regular! It's very difficult to get a clear indication of when your ovulating too. Have you bought any ovulating tests? There's some on EBay cheap they all do the same job. It really help me, you get a massive pile of a few pounds and can just keep testing every day or twice a day when your due your period. Good luck I hope you get you BFP soon Thanks

what MummyPiggy said - ttc can drive you bonkers and it can make your cycles crazy too. I used to get so excited if I was a few days late and then I would be crushed with disappointment when I came on. I was really struggling with taking a step back and getting perspective and I think that is what you should do (if - and I am supposing a lot, you've been ttc). Go and have that big celebration - get pissed up and have fun. It won't make a jot of difference in the event you are pregnant- it doesn't touch the foetus that early on.

You can't put your life on hold - and if you do it will add to the pressure and it becomes a vicious circle. Easier said than done and many, many of us have been in that position. It took me 6 months to conceive and in that time I wound myself up to a state of frenzy that was crazy. There are a lot of ladies for whom it took a lot longer to conceive and to be frank, I'm a bit embarrassed about how unrealistic my expectations were when I read their stories.

TTC takes time - but try not to let it take over your life.

Thankyou everyone! I did buy some ovulation tests actually but I haven't used them yet, I will take your advice and not think about it too much, use the ovulation tests and take it from there! Thankyou again for all your help :) x

Still no sign of period :/ now 12 days late x

Well I guess it's a good sign if it's still late then. You could always send in a pee sample so your doc can send it off-are theirs more sensitive?
Let us know, I have my fingers crossed for you!

Staceyaa · 17/08/2015 23:10

Yeah I suppose that is a good idea :) I will keep you updated thankyou x

A doctors urine test is no more sensitive than those you can buy yourself. In fact some HPT are often more sensitive than those the doctors use (which are just standard cheap tests bought in bulk)

Although this isn't what you want to hear I think it's worth considering that the 11day bleed you had might have been your period, albeit a strange one at that. Hopefully this isn't the case but I as I say I think it's worth keeping in mind.

Staceyaa · 18/08/2015 09:05

I have been thinking that, but it was a very very strange one if it was x
