Early, Late or On Time?

How late or early were your first (and any subsequent) babies? Did any arrive on their due date?

I'm due tomorrow with first baby, but this is just out of curiosity, as I am a nosy so-and-so passing the time!

1st born on due date...though I was induced so I don't think it technically counts

DS1 - 2 days late
DS2 - 14 days late
DS3 - 6 days late
DS4 - 5 days early but was ELSC
DS5 - 9 days late
DD - 6 days late
DS6 - 3 days late

Dc1 - 15 days early
Dc2 - due date (rare by all accounts)
Twins - 9 weeks early.

Babies born between 37-42 weeks are perfectly on time and aren't 'late' till after 42 weeks but DD was born 10 days after her due date and DS 3 days after his. Both my 12 week scans were performed after 13 weeks though, so I don't trust those due dates 100%.

Anecdotally, I know some women who always give birth around 37-38 weeks and some who always go to around 42 weeks.

Waters broke on due date, DS born the next morning.

DS - 37+ 3 so two and a half weeks early
DC2 - due next month but I won't be going over as I'll be induced at 40 weeks if I've not had her by then

I went into labour on my due date with dd and she arrived a day later at 40+1. Labour started late at 39+5 with DS and he arrived at 39+6. Luckily not late either time

On his due date. I spent most of my pregnancy complaining that I couldn't just book a 'give birth' appointment in my diary and have a date and time to prepare myself for. Turns out that by chance when I entered my due date into my diary my phone automatically selected 10-11am as that was when I was entering it. My son was born at 10:25 so I did have it booked into my diary all along!

DD1 5 days early (but started labour the night before).

My son was born 40+2, but I carried him small so it wasn't a nuisance at all, in fact I was very happily pregnant and didn't want to give birth

DC1 was 13 days overdue (induced after 12 days)

DC2 was 3 days late (spontaneous labour)

Dc1 2 days late, though went into labour on due date.
Dc2 10 days late

DC1 - 11 days late
DC2 - 10 days late
DC3 - ?

DS was 4 weeks early.
Even though I couldn't wait to have him from like 30 weeks, I honestly wish I could have kept him in there till the end!

2 weeks late and had to be induced with all 3 of my dcs. I've never even been close to going into labour without assistance.

DS1 was 10 days late, DS2 was 11 days late. Wondering what DS3 will do now!

sleepywombat if your theory is correct, then I'll have another overdue baby then as my first two were back to back babies, and this one is too!! Oh dear, in for a long wait it seems....

Dd1 labour started 40+2 - born 40+4

Dd2 - born 39+6

DS was born at 39+3 which was the day before my original due date!
