SPD and acupuncture - any experience?

I've been suffering from increasingly painful SPD for weeks now (I'm 27 weeks tomorrow) and my midwife sent me for acupuncture this morning. I'd never had it before and actually quite enjoyed it! It's all very interesting. I found that immediately after it I could walk a bit easier with less pain.

I was just wondering if anyone else had tried this as a remedy to SPD? I was getting desperate and willing to try anything. I'm going to be getting a treatment every week now apparently until my baby is born.

Any experiences anyone else has had would be intersting to hear...

Hiya,
I only had acupunture after my dd was born, as they would not do it before delivery.
TBH, I found it didn't really help me at all, but it is now 14months after dd being born, so might be that lol.

If it works for you. good luck. I know the feeling of SPD well!!

weel just to update - I realised when I woke up this morning that the pain was greatly diminished - I feel like a different person. Don't get me wrong - there is still some pain, it's not vanished, but I'm not hobbling about in agony today!

So I'm happy...something's definitely worked..
