Late onset OHSS

Hi, I've just had a positive pregnancy test following my first round of IVF. I found out whilst I was in hospital, as the OHSS was caused by an increase in pregnancy hormone. I'd love to get in touch with anyone else who has encountered this. So uncomfortable, and terrified because the pain is so much like period pain!

Hi OP, saw this hadn't been answered. No experience of this so I can't help. Maybe try asking on some of the infertility threads?

I haven't had this, but my older sister had it.

She had it with her first and more recently has recently need discharged from hospital after having it a second time.

You have my full sympathy, it sounds horrible.

Are you still in hospital?

Im the same as you, pregnant first round IVF (very lucky i know) test day was also the day I was admitted to hospital with late onset OHSS. I honestly looked hugely pregnant my stomach was so bloated. Its still here now albeit the bloating has thankfully gone down. I know it's terrifying and generally unpleasant and am here if you want some hand holding and to do some moaning :)
