Blood on toilet paper

TMI for a Saturday morning but I am having a mini panic. Can't be sure if the blood came from front or back... had only been for a wee and noticed a small spot of bright red blood on loo roll. This happened a few more times through the evening after going for a wee and wiping bum. Should I do anything? Am 33 wks so could be piles but absolutely no discomfort. Should I try and see a doctor today? Roll on 7 weeks as I am fed up with the worry!!!!

I don't imagine that a tiny bit of blood when wiping is something to be too concerned about at this stage. I would absolutely call your MW just to let her know what's going on though.

Just call your local hospital. I did the same and they booked me for an early scan. Can never be too sure. Just my advice but I wouldn't leave anything to chance x

That's both. I doubt they would give me a scan, probably just whack me on the monitor for a while which I am kind of keen to avoid as I have had so much ultrasound exposure throughout this preg... I know its probably fine but I am very anxious about it all!

Sorry if this is a bit tmi kinda gross, but have you tried re checking in between toilet visits? Put a bit off loo paper around your finger and insert just a small way into your vagina and see if it's clear or there's blood. Then get another piece of toilet paper and press it right against your bottom and see if there's any blood. If you can clearly see only blood on your bottom but not on your vagina you're ok, but if you see any from your vagina or if you're still not sure you could go for extra medical help
