I have a very very sore bit on my right side. I thought it was a foot or elbow digging me, I suppose it could be. it's tender to touch. I am 32 weeks. anyone else experiencing this?

Bump. It's very painful.

I had really sore ribs a couple of weeks ago which were tender to touch around the bottom edge. They're not so bad now (I think the cartilage has finally given up the struggle) although there is now definitely a foot or something wedged in the same place...

Oh thank you. I had visions that it might be something really bad, like a blown up placenta, if I am panicking over this, how will I ever manage childbirth

LOL at blown up placenta....!! my sister had this..it just went away !!!! sadly, pregnancy is full of annoying niggles and pains with no explanation!!!

childbirth will be fine,,you get a lovely baby at the end which is makes you forget the pain!!

Oooooo LM, I sent your book back today. Wished I hadn't as I coulda looked it up. I am having lots of niggles that I definitely never had with my first.

Got any advice for that blown up belly, feeling fit to bust if I eat a smartie syndrome.

That book was fabbo and I thoroughly recommend it to everyone who wants a vbac/natural birth.

I had this and it was quite hard to the touch as well and felt small and round - like a tennis ball - I even posted on here about it. Turned out it was the baby's head and she was breach - but they didn't find that out until I was giving birth! Have heard of other mum's with breach babies experiencing the same. Ask your midwife to really check the position of your baby.

Don't worry re. planenta probs! As the others have said this is a common thing often with many simple causes!

you are welcome...feel free to email if you have any questions...xx

the book is very encouraging...! i really loved it...

try and sit upright, not slumped back in the chair and some time on a gym ball ,

and the bump will drop soon ....so the pain will diminish...xx
