Best thing for stretch marks/small boob question

I'm 21 weeks and have just discovered stretch marks on my boobs, I've always had small (B cup) perky boobs and though I was self conscious of the size as there wasn't much there, I liked them as at least they were perky, if that makes any sense.

They've grown a fair but now I'm currently wearing a C cup but will need D soon I think.
I completely forgot to concentrate on putting oil on my boobs!

I'm just wondering for another who's had small breasts before getting pregnant, did they go back to their original size or did they stay slightly bigger? A friend of mine was a B, then went to an E when her milk came in and now she's stayed a D so I wondered if this would be the sort if 'norm' for those with small boobs. I don't mind just wondering if they'll stay a bit bigger, I don't want to get too attached if not. (I'm LOVING my new womanly figure you see..)

Also, any recommendation on things to prevent/cover stretch marks?

Thank you!

I have a small chest, and they have gone back to their original size since breastfeeding, but lost the perkiness too Sad

OiledBegg · 07/08/2015 16:21

Ps try bio oil!

Frillsandspills · 07/08/2015 16:34

Thank You Oiled, I was hoping you wouldn't say that!

I'll try bio oil I've been using a coco butter cream at the minute but I prefer the smell of bio oil for some reason!

I was also a perky B cup before DD. when my milk came in I went up to a D. Unfortunately like the pp they went back to a B but slightly sadder looking.

Am now 19w with DC2 and they are a D again already! I hope they don't get any bigger, I don't really like them this big, I keep knocking them in to things. Sad

You can't prevent stretch marks sadly. The damage is deeper in the skin than oil can penetrate.

libraries right. Nothing can stop them - if you are going to get them you're going to get them x sorry about that also on the boob front (lol) I am normally a 36c and at 31 weeks am now a ,38dd (,got measured today for nursing bras etc) with my DD they stayed "bigger" until I stopped exclusively breastfeeding - I breastfed for 19 months however....

I know its hard to accept but they just arent going to stay perky forever x

Xxgood luck xx

I was a B cup before DS1. He's now 4 and I've been a D since. Just had DS2 and not yet been measured. You might stay bigger but the key thing is to get properly fitted. Argan oil for stretch marks!

My sister was an A cup, went up to an E and then settled at a D where she remains 6 years later. My mum however went b-c-deflated b. I hope I'm like my sister!

Meowandchoppychops · 08/08/2015 22:38

I was an A/B before getting pregnant and now I am a D so I am very happy, I just hope they don't go back to an A, my mum stayed a cup size up after her two pregnancies. Hoping I am the same. As for stretch marks I think sadly it's just down to your genes. I got stretch marks during puberty, but so far (I am 25weeks) no sign of any and I have been using bio-oil and emollient or aqueous cream on top as I have super dry skin.

Diggum · 08/08/2015 22:46

I was barely an A before, went to small B at most during BF, which I LOVED. Still BFing my 15 month old but boobs now back to small A now. Still perky but mainly because there was never anything much for Gravity to act on! I really miss the Bs though [daily mail sad face].

I was an a cup and both times went back to a cup (largest I went to was c/d after baby )
BUT this time I m a d cup- still have 8 weeks to go and am dreading when milk comes in initially!
(As an aside I really hate having bigger boobs - all my clothes and style are for my a/b cup boobs not these bazookas!

I m hoping I ll go back to a more usual a/b cup once I finish breast feeding .

I found they went back to smaller size first, then levelled out, to a usual a/b I do a fair bit of upper body work and exercise and that helped tone up a bit too and restore 'perkiness' I think (though was not my aim of doig the exercise )

Stretch marks are down to connective tissue and the structure within aren't they?! I know I used cocoa butter and clarins body oil (couldn't stand the smell this time around though) on the last two pregnancies - had one or two but they faded. But I think it d more genetics, a bit of massage as you out the oil on and keeping the skin above in good condition can't do any harm though IMHO Wink

I'm a B, went up to C when pg/bfing then back to B when DS was about 6 months. I'm hoping this time will be the same.

CarrotPuff · 09/08/2015 08:19

And yes, creams/oils can't penetrate skin to the level where the damage happens. Just get yourself whatever cream you fancy to keep your skin moisturised. Wouldn't waste my money on expensive bio oils.
