eye makeup removers are bad?

I am pregnant and this is my fourth month. Since I am still working my job, I put some makeup everyday when I go to work. I put some eye makeup as well, so I am using an eye makeup remover when I clean my face. I wonder if the makeup remover has some ingredients that could affect badly on my eyes and on my baby in any ways, because I can scent some kinds of strong artificial smell when I use it. All makeup removers have not good ingredients anyway? Should I stop using it?

It's probably fine. Just don't drink it.

I've never heard of make up remover to be harmful to put on your eyes when pregnant. I don't see how it could be any different to colouring your hair, painting nails or using nail varnish remover or perfumed body lotion. All things that you can do when pregnant.

I think if we panicked about every single little thing we put on our skin or were exposed to in pregnancy we would all be quarantined off for 9 months

Doubt makeup remover would be any worse than the makeup itself!

Don't worry you'll be fine! I am almost 32 weeks and found our a few days ago that pregnant women are apparently not supposed to use anti ageing creams that contain Vitamin A - exactly what I have been using on a daily basis every day of my pregnancy, oops! Will carry on using it anyway, am sure if it was so dangerous it would be more widely known! Never heard of make up remover being a problem though so don't worry.

People really think this? I'm amazed. You'd probably be fine if you drank a pint of it a day.

Your sense of smell is heightened in pregnancy so normally innocuous things can suddenly smell really gross to you, pretty sure that's all it'll be.

I normally love a coffee and am an occasional smoker but both those smells have made me gag since I've been pregnant. Also weird things like cut grass - normally a pleasant smell - are horrible to me at times.

well, I think that all kinds of makeup products would have some ingredients that are actually not good for our skins, eyes, or lips. However, I think that they may not have that much effects unless we use them really for a long time. I am using makeup products, such as eye liner, eye shadows, or mascara, but actually it is not easy to check all of their ingredients choose the products depends on them, especially because they are for eye makeup (I focus more on their colors or functions). However, when the products are such as skin care products or makeup
removers, I care about the ingredients. Since lips and eyes are really sensitive, I care about the ingredients even more. I have been using this one for a month, and it is good at removing the makeup clearly as well.
