internal scans

I've had three scans so far, at 9, 12 and 16 weeks. All have had to be internal as I have a tilted uterus. I've got my 20 weeks scan next week and just wondered if this will be internal too? Does anyone have experience of this?

Not quite sure sure hut I have a backwards tilted uterus and stopped being scanned internally at 12 weeks. I was scanned every week from week 5 due to miscarriages. Not sure why it needs to be internally this far on tho as baby would be well out of pelvis

Although my scans weren't very clear up until 20 weeks they still done them externally x

Thanks, hopefully they'll be able to do it the regular way. I was surprised at 16 weeks that they still couldn't see much.

Try having a fullish bladder it can push your uterus forward apparently x

I had internal scans until I was 32 weeks as they thought I was in danger of premature labour and a tilted uterus.
I also had external ones too and these went on until 41 weeks when he still wasn't budging!
