My midwife referred me after my booking in appt as the scar I have from my previous cystectomy is like a Caesarian style one rather than through the belly button (my ovarian cyst was flippin massive so I think that's why they did the op that way).
Just wondered if anyone else had been seen by a consultant due to this and whether it affected the way in which you could give birth? It seems a bit unnecessary to me but I guess they're just erring on the safe side.
