I have a cramping in my abdomen a couple of times a day. This is my second pregnancy and I never felt this with the first. Is this normal?

I had some period-y type achy pains at this stage both times - they were more noticeable second time round. Midwife said it was just everything stretching.

yes....early pregnancy....lots of cramping...aching , dragging, feeling like period is coming...all the massive hormonal changes going on in there to establish the pregnancy are doing so many things, so feeling twingey is ok.! any fresh red blood in conjunction with the cramps, or a one sided pain should be checked out ASAP!
congratulations....try not to worry. xx
