I have nine year old ds and am pregnant, due March. There'll be ten years between them. 25 then, 35 now. Different dads. Anyone else in a similar situ?

20 years between mine.

Will be nearly 7 years between DD and this one. Didn't plan it that way but fertility issues decided the age gap for us!

8 years between my boys. Had eldest in my twenties and youngest in my thirties. It's not the way I would have chosen but it works in so many ways. Good luck with your pregnancy. There are definitely benefits to having a big age gap.

We have three ages 9+, currently TTC so there will be a ten year gap.

Much easier than 2-3 years between them as they're largely self sufficient now Grin

A 16 year gap for me!

mrsfazruns · 04/08/2015 22:57

I have ds 9 and dd 7 and I have just found out with surprise baby number 3. I am 35 and have to admit to being concerned about the age gap and being 10 years older this time but Im sure the dc will adore the baby when it arrives. How are you feeling op?

Lolababy00 · 05/08/2015 08:26

DD21, DS19, DS16, DD14 months and currently 34+3 weeks pregnant. Really enjoying the gap ... And have lots of helpers.

DC1 10.5y, 18 weeks pg, different dads. Planning on another next year.

DC1 cant wait for DC2, has waited long enough. I am also under the promise of plenty of help from DC1!

Whilst I have a 2.9 year old and I'm due my second I have an older half brother who is 35 years my senior. as a child it was like having a cool uncle but as I grew we have become closer. I love him and never ever think of him as my half brother, He's my brother, that's I'll. Ironically we're a lot closer than me and my sister who is only a few years my junior. Just goes to show that age gap isn't everything!

SoozeyHoozey · 07/08/2015 20:29

Gosh some big gaps! What do you find the advantages are? We are very happy to be having another baby and ds is over the moon, I just feel sad sometimes they won't be closer in age and won't really be able to play together.

I have one of 15, one of 10 and one of 20 months.

And no she wasn't a mistake. I didn't accidentally fall on DH's penis (I was asked sooooo many times).

10 year age gap between me & my sister. We're not close (different mums) but now she's in late teens she comes to me for advice/moan about how crap her parents are. So I feel the closeness may start now
