Induction tomorrow - very nervous

That's all really. First baby & being induced tomorrow feeling very nervous.

I've also been on the monitor for 40mins & just been taken off it. Baby seems very happy & moving around lots. Just been given lunch, so stuffing my face

tiger u make it sound so easy, let's hope it is as easy & pain free as urs

I've been given the gel now and back on the monitor. Having tiny contractions every 10 mins or so. Hoping they'll let me go home soon so I can go for a walk and hopefully things will start ramping up. Food sounds like a great idea. Might make OH take me out for lunch.
Have they given you the gel or is that after lunch?

No they put a pessary in. Not having any contractions, been put in 1 hour ago. Been on ctg since then

What's the gel?

I think it's just a different version of the pessary... The midwives said its the same hormones just administered in a slightly different way.
I now have to stay on hospital grounds till 5 then have more checks before I can go.
Hope things kick off for you soon.

How are you getting on?

Got really bad period like pains & lower back pain. Pessary is still inserted & will be removed at 1:30 tomorrow afternoon. Pain is getting abit unbearable but don't no if that's me cos I cannot bare pain at all

Spunds positive. Did thinks ramp up overnight? I've still just got mild pains so will be heading back in to hospital at lunchtime for my waters to be broken.

How are you OP and Clstow?

After initially going in for induction at 10am Wednesday I finally had my baby boy at 8:50 Friday morning - 13 days late! He's absolutely gorgeous and well worth all of the waiting

Haven't had a chance to come on here since had my little one at 4am Saturday morning by C-section. Induction didn't work so with all pessary, gel & hormonal drip I was only 3cm in the end when decision for ceaserian was taken.

Being discharged from hospital today as little one had an infection due to my waters breaking 2 days before he was actually born.
