Really scared about 1st scan next week

Hi everyone, this is my first message on here. I'm 11+4 in my first pregnancy and have my first scan next Thursday. So far I've had no sickness whatsoever, and the only signs that I'm pregnant are slightly bigger boobs and occasional mood swings (which I haven't noticed by my H has pointed out to me a few times!)
Anyway, on another forum I'm on a lady with an EDD 2 days after me posted to say she had her scan yesterday and it was a missed miscarriage. She had posted a few times over the last couple of weeks about her lack of symptoms, and I was glad that someone else wasn't feeling sick.
Now I'm absolutely terrified that when I go for the scan next week there won't be anything there, so really I just need reassurance. What are the chances of going for a 12 week scan and finding a missed m/c? I've had no cramps, no bleeding or anything like that and feel absolutely fine. Please give me some reassurance

Hi sleepychunky... and welcome to the wonderful world of mn.
I had no sickness or feelings of being pregnant with 1st dd before first scan.... made up for it later on in pregnancy though!
You will be fine... no need to start worrying at this stage, just relax and enjoy your scan next week.

I also had missed m/c a few months ago at 15wks and had horrid mornig sickness and every other symptom.... pregnancy just does different things to different women.

Don't worry about the lack of pregnancy symptoms. I'm now 31 weeks pregnant and if I didn't have a bump, I honestly wouldn't know that I was having a baby in 9 weeks time. No morning sickness, no swelling, no back ache, nothing as of yet!

Mind you, I've still got 9 weeks to go - plenty of time for suffering!

Thank you I just need some reassurance as nobody else I know is pg and it's a lot to deal with the first time round.

Just hope that this time next week I'll be posting a really happy message and not a really one
