Too much movement?

Is there such a thing? I'm 30 weeks today. Baby batman has been going like billy-o for a few days money stop now. Advice online is conflicting. Any one else noticed anything like this? I'm thinking I feel it more because there's less room but then other advice says any change in movement should be checked out. I've got an appointment to go and see my gyny tomorrow in any case but only because 1) everyone else thinks I should be worried (I'm not...) and 2) if there was something wrong I'd never forgive myself for not worrying more.

Always get any change in movement checked x its always best to get checked and be wrong then to not and be right. Intuition is there for a reason i think xx count the kicks website is pretty good at explaining it all x good luck hun xx

My doc will be fed up with me! I had scan at 25 weeks because I thought it wasn't moving enough. Now I'm going because it's moving too much. To be fair she has also said it's better to be safe than sorry so I'm sure she'll just laugh when she sees me - I had 3 scans in a week when I first signed up with her....

No probs x its hard when you're preggo as you don't want to be "annoying" etc but your not - at all - they are paid to look after us to the best of their ability...

If I could have my way I would have a scan every day lol x

I found DD reacted to what i ate or drank (redbull ... just once ... was not a good idea!) Also had one alcoholic drink and the next day she was a flat out dead weight !!!

It's my first (and only) dc so I'm new to all this. Pregnancy is stressful!!! I live abroad and everything is paid by insurance so technically I could have a scan every day. I'm just wondering when I get to relax and enjoy but I'm thinking it's not going to happen. 10 weeks and counting

I know it's been said but definitely get it checked out. Any change in movement is worthy of a check.

I have a bump which was constantly moving, so one day got all worried it didn't move...drank and ice cold coke and it woke up. Movement are generally slower now as getting bigger.

Don't worry about calling them. I called my midwife about over movement once too (was totally fine, baby just having a busy day) But midwife was more than happy to listen to my concerns. As others said, really important to check changes in movement (although am sure like me, it will be totally fine) Midwife said to me, they'd rather see someone 10 times over nothing than miss the one time it's something.

You relax about 30 seconds before your baby is born... As soon as that baby is born its a whole different kettle of fish lol a different kind of anxiousness lol

Any change in movement - to less or to more - needs checking.

I wish pregnant ladies would stop worrying about being a nuisance. It is the midwife's job to look after you and your baby and quite frankly your baby is more important than someone who's name you won't remember in five years.

Didn't go. There were no drivers available to take me, there's no public transport, street taxis are not an option, women can't drive here and DH couldn't get out of work so I've had to rearrange for tomorrow afternoon. So frustrating. Can't wait to get back to the UK, civilisation and independence.

Ah that's a shame but at least you will be going tomorrow. If the movements get suddenly more frantic and then stop, get yourself to the hospital or call a midwife to be on the safe side. How are the movements today?

Same as they have been for the past 4-5 days. So since the noticeable change, no change iyswim. FX it's all ok.

Just seen the doc. No scan this time. Not needed. She had a feel and listened to the heart beat. She could even make out its limbs through my belly I however am still clueless. I'm feeling much more movement just because it's getting bigger. Good heartbeat, all my vitals and bloods are just fine. Baby batman is clearly just not a fan of too much sleep or rest. That better not be a sign of things to come!
