I'm 13 weeks pregnant , due 5/2/16 :-)
This is my first baby with my husband, however I also have a daughter by my ex, who will be 14 when baby is born!
It's strange going back to babies and pregnancy again after so long and I was wondering if anyone else was in similar position? Xx

My OH thinks its mad he has a BIL who is 14 and is a bit freaked out, but not much, that he is old enough to be the dad to 4 of my siblings Shock then again I could be mum to 2 of them!

If we have one together (undecided) there will be nearly 10 years between DC and poss new baby

Really lovely to hear about everyone's happy experiences with age gaps in siblingings!
Feeling much happier having read all of these, so thanks for sharing :-) xx

My stepdaughter is 18 and is already offering to babysit so I'm thrilled haha!!

Also you'll have the future to look forward to...a colleague of mine has two sons in their 20's and an 11 year old daughter. Her daughter has her own room in each of her brother's houses, meaning my colleague still gets to go out with her hubby or friends any time ;)

There will be almost 18 years between DS1 and DS2, DS2 is due very soon. It has helped reign DS1 in quite a bit. He is quite nervous, but really excited and can't wait to finally be a big brother Grin

I'm hoping that DS2s arrival reminds. Ds1 why he's so important to me, and helps him understand why I worry etc. and that the worrying I do is because I love him. I also love the prospect of having DS1s support when DS2 is being a typical teen Grin

20 years between my brother and I Smile

Nobody questions it, they are all certain he's mine and never question my mum might be the mother whilst out and about. Of course, I make it clear he's not mine!

18 years between my two!

And what a shock to the system! I never felt tired like that before! Dd1 adores dd2 and it's great for babysitting!

There's 8 years between my brother and I and 19 between me and my sisters.

My brother and I fought like cat and dog as children but have always been close at the same time, he's 20 now and we are like best friends most of the time.

My sisters (twins) and I have a totally different relationship because we weren't brought up together and with the gap too I think, they're 9 and although we get on really well and we know we're siblings I guess it feels like I'm more of an Aunt to them if that makes sense?! They're 8 months older than my DS and I often have the 3 of them out and about which provides hours of entertainment with nosey folk because no one thinks I'm over 25 yet here I am with what looks like 9 year old triplets :o Sometimes I correct them, sometimes I just let them process the information with a look of shock!

There are 6.9years between my own children and it was like starting over again because I'd gotten a bit wiser with my ways .
