Pretty sure they (tunes) are fine nadinetd - there's not a lot in them really.

thanks so much tried nhs direct 2 hours ago they are menat to call me back but i guess they are busy dealing with real emergencies ha ha not a over the top pregnant women x thanks

Lockets say "no adverse effects reported in pregnancy" on the pack. Took them with DD and she has turned out fine, and have also taken them with this prenancy.

Would have thought most throat sweets were similar...

I've just been to the chemist this afternoon with a sore throat/cough and am 12.5 weeks pregnant.

He gave me some linctus(sp?)medicine and throat pastilles. He said they were both sugar based and were fine during pregnancy. He said Strepsils should be fine (I took one myself this morning before having a panic they were harmful)though they don't necessarily recommend them as they have antiseptic in them and haven't been tested rigourously with regards to pregnancy. Though no harmful effects have been found.
