right - firstly, Im a regular and have changed my name so you dont all frown too harshly on me.
I have a VERY young baby, and I had a positive PG test this morning, so it seems I will have two babies in the same school year (if all goes well).
I ring DH up to tell him news, etc etc, before I mention about me, he tells me his best mates new girl griend is also PG - this makes me so mad!
I know ive done some thing stupid, getting PG so soon, but christ, I watched this stupid girl do lines of coke at the weekend in the loo's at the local pub, and consume a WHOLE bottle of vodka whislt at mine (I hasten to add, I did neither, as I am BF and frankly, any one who sticks that crap up their noses needs a bloody slap)
My DH's mate now feels terrible, and has just phoned me in tears the poor bloke, he is miserable, they weren't trying, and she told him she was on the pill...apparently, he thinks she's just trying to trap him (as she has a son by a previous relationship who is only 18 months old).
whom - by the way, she called a rather grose swear word a few weeks ago when he spilt a glass of orange juice.
I feel so angry, arghhhhh some one please just tell me that Im over reacting or some thing, and now I havent told DH about our PG, Grrrrrrrrrrrrrr

I'd be very upset bout your DH's mate's girlfr being PG, too, with her history.
I don't think you need to rush into telling your DH. Get your own brain around it, first.

The girl sounds like a cow poor baby.

RE you though...... there's 13 months between my first wasn't an issue, rather iked it that way as it happened- no sibling rivalry issues over the birth, potty trained together, etc etc

baby swing was v handy whiklst bf younger one though- kept ds1 amused!

Peachyclair, my babies will both be under the age of one!

just to reassure you about your own PG, i think there are several of us here who have minimal gaps between babies (mine are 13 months and 15 months apart) and you can survive to tell the tale, so congratulations if it is what you want.
As to your DH mate, that sounds a pretty awful situation, and i just hope it works itself out.

Why haven't you told your husband you are pregnant? His best mate's gf being pg is nothing to do with you.

And why have YOU done something stupid? It takes two you know!!!

well, Im a little scared about having another baby so soon, I havent even packed away my maternity clothes from my first baby, god... this is a little quicker than planned.

Will two babies under the age of one be hell?

Think how lucky you are!!! I would have loved it!

It will be fine, you will be shattered but proud I am sure. And you will be asked constantly if your DCs are twins!

First, Congratulations! I know someone that went for her 6 week post baby check up and was pregnant already. She said that it was great having them together. Difficult at times, but mostly great. Tell your husband, don't let the crap in someone else's life overshadow your happiness.

re dhs friends gf it is frustrating to see people like that having children..however there is not a lot you can do about it unfortunately.

about you..think you should tell your dh and as for the gap I will have 12 n half months between DD and DB and also have a just 3yr old so am sure you will be fine.
