Ok slight problem???

I had to go to a and e this afternoon due to lower pain in one side of my stomach, I had tests done and scan as I am pg... the scan showed nothing, but all tests were positive... I am awaiting blood test to come back but gynae said things look fine, but not ruling out eptopic pg, but v unlikely as other tests were normal.
got to have a early pg scan on thursday...
whats happening??, not sure if this is a because I am early stages ie: 4weeks ??

if 4 weeks..then will be really hard to pick anything up on a scan......5 - 6 weeks is better...7 or so weeks to see a hearbeat.

when you say the scan showed nothing..do you mean nothing in utero or nothing in your tube?

They said I am definately pg, but they couldnt see a baby... they saw some thing in my uterus but I have to go back thursday...
they said dont worry ???

sorry you're having this worrying time

at 4 weeks they won't be able to tell you anything definitive - too early to diagnose ep by scan or by serial blood tests (did they think you might be further along when they scanned you?)

hang in there and let them take care of you, but make sure you go back to a&e if the pain/bleeding gets worse

let us know what the result of your hcg test was

Is it natural to think of the worst??
I am so excited, but then also want to see something on a scan, which is next friday.... so I should be 6 weeks then if calculations are right. I have had internal scan and external due to pain and nothing was there...

really want to see something,,, first timer as you can tell ha ha

also I am experiencing a achey back???

you should see something at 6 weeks...but possibly not a heart beat until 7 +

it is natural to fear the worst..but at some point you need to relax and enjoy..or you have a long 35 weeks ahead of you!
