Which maternity pillow?

Hi, I'm going to buy a maternity pillow and looking for your recommendations please.

Two of those small half-moon Boppy wedges worked v well for me.

For my last pregnancy I had a brand with the name dream in it.. From John Lewis. Can't remember exactly, but it wasn't great. Anyway I need another so checking into this thread in the hope of some good suggestions :) (currently using the decorative pillows we normally throw off the bed before getting in!

I have this and I love it! It's huge though so just be warned.... My husband calls it my boyfriend Steve!

Ooh I've just spent ages scanning the web and getting more and more a confused over which pillow to get!

I got a big V shaped one from aldi the last time they had a baby event and it was a bargain £6 and it's been great. They have the baby events quite frequently so keep an eye out!

I've got a dream genii and it's fabulous. It's one of the smaller ones, it gives really good support and if you turn over in the night you don't need to get up to move it around.

Honestly, I think I'll keep using it after the baby arrives it's that good. Best forty quid I've spent recently.

brummie I wouldn't recommend it! The concept and shape is good - I particularly like the back part because in the third trimester you don't want to roll onto your back in the night! However it lost its shape, the filling wasn't great, nor was the material cover (it tore) - it was so worn by the end of the pregnancy (I got it at about 15 weeks) that I didn't use it for breastfeeding like skipton is hoping to do. It was to flimsy, and with a newborn baby after a c sec I simply relied on people near me to put pillows or cushions in areas I requested as I got to grips with breastfeeding - and when it was established I was fine without.

I second cornberry the Argos one is fab, and I got it half price for £7! I even brought it on holiday with me and I can see it being very useful for breastfeeding

I got the cheapo multi purpose mother care one as it is meant to be good for bfing when baby is here too. I love it so far. Bought it at 12 weeks and slept with it every night since (28 weeks now). Sometimes when I come in from a late shift I find DH has nicked it.

Honestly? I wouldn't bother. In my first pregnancy I tried an array of maternity pillows - one bought,several borrowed - and never got quite comfortable.

This time I'm using two ordinary, old pillows. Free, and much easier to position just-so.

Gosh, mine is fab... :( I hope it doesn't disintegrate!
