PMS or is it possible?

Hi all,

I feel like I'm going insane :(

For about a week I've had pregnancy symptoms, from swollen painful breasts, to almost constant nausea, having to go to loo a lot more, to hitting that 3pm want to sleep mode that I had with all 3 of my pregnancies.

Here's the catch. I was sterilised during my last c-section, 5.5 years ago!

I get PMS yes, normally really irritable, hot, sore etc but this just FEELS different.

I feel paranoid and like I'm going nuts. My last period was almost 3 weeks ago and yet I've felt like this for best part of a week. I even took a test (which was negative) on Friday and I just now think I'm going crazy :(

Could it really just be PMS kicking in and the symptoms suddenly different from what they've always been? Or is the possibility of pregnancy actually possible?
Sorry to ramble, but its taking over my thoughts all the time and I can't constructively deal with it. I also cant talk to anyone in person about it as home life is complicated enough.

My OH actually said to me this morning when I complained of feeling sick again "are you pregnant or something???" yet he knows I was sterilised also as he was there in the delivery room with me when our daughter was born and they performed the op there and then.

Go see your GP if you feel something is different. From the date of your AF, seems a little early for any pregnancy symptoms but you never know.

Have you thought about the possibility of early menopause also?

i'm not very knowledgeable about any of these things but they were my initial thoughts. Hopefully somebody more in the know will be along soon and can offer more helpful words

I had thought of early menopause, and thought maybe sterilisation can cause this but anything Dr Google showed was saying this was not always the case so I'd dismissed it a bit. It's frustrating as symptoms all would point to early pregnancy so I think its just consuming me a little as its not symptoms that are actually coming and going :(
