do you have any icecream? if you eat it very slowly, allowing for it to go down bit by bit that often helps. also, milk, but sip it very slowly, again just letting it dribble down your throat. make sure you prop yourself up in bed so you're not lying flat.

I sympathise, I had cronic heartburn when I was pregnant with ds and was intolerant to antacids so lived on milk for the duration of my pregnancy.

magnolia1 · 20/11/2006 22:07

Ok so gulping down a pink of milk probaby wasn't the best idea

nearlythree · 20/11/2006 22:24

Give the yoghurt a go, at least it will be cold!

nearlythree · 20/11/2006 22:24

Do you not have an all-night Tesco nearby?

mears · 20/11/2006 22:25

Soda water can help

magnolia1 · 20/11/2006 22:32

Tried the yogurt, Car playing up so Dh can't get to Tesco and have no soda water

I want to go to bed but just know when I do it will get worse.
