I'm 38weeks got a appointment with consultant today at 12. When I last saw him he said I could ask for a sweep anytime after 37+6, as I've had a really bad pregnancy due to severe asthma & tightness. Although this has slightly got better over the past 2 weeks as baby has dropped down. But last night I went into triage due to very heavy Discharge. She examined me down below & said cervix was still quiet back, & was closed.
Should add, I also have GD Diet Controlled, which has been very good through the whole pregnancy so far.
So in this case is it still worth asking for a Sweep?
Any positive experiences of having a sweep with closed cervix, and works?
