Possible water infection

I think I may have a water infection. I've left a message on my local midwives answerphone as it said online they are there seven days a week. However I'm unsure if it's them or a doctor I need to see?

Personally i would contact the GP. i got a UTI during pregnancy & became very ill, very quickly.

UTI whilst pregnant can have implications on the pregnancy.

Yes gp. I had one that turned into a nasty kidney infection around 20 weeks. Was fine once on antibiotics though. But best not to leave it

Thanks ladies. I think the midwife gets in about half 8 so I'll give it half hour to see if she responses and if not will ring doctors out of hours

You need GP OOH not midwife, they will direct you to GP as they need to prescribe if you do have one.
