Anyone want to try the nub theory guesses?!

Hi everyone, apologies if there is a recent thread about this but I couldn't see one! Does anyone want to upload a 12week scan pic so we can have a go guessing the gender based on the nub theory? Could be fun?!

Ok this is my 3yr old but it's the 20 weeks scan not the 12 week does that matter?

Anyone want to guess and then I'll say if you're right?

Oh sorry I googled and apparently nub theory isn't relevant at 20w as they have Genitalia by then not a nub. Sorry! He's a boy by the way

If it's the nub I'm looking at - I would say girl? But then again I seem to think every scan I see is a girl!

I'm 16 weeks today may find out this week :) x

No nub (unless I'm being stupid) but here's mine at 11+4 if anyone fancies a go at skull theory detection!

I'm thinking boy too. I'd be shocked if it's a girl due to there being a load of boys on both sides of the family haha.

All of my family say boy but they said that with my DD who is 4 lol I would love a boy or a girl I'm just to impatient the not knowing kills me haha x

I thought the more it pointed straight up it was a boy and if it's at a 30 degree angle it's a girl?

Gardening, I think your 20wk scan looks like a girl. You can sort of see the 'hamburger' shape that the sonographers look for.

Teaandcake, you can't get the angle from yours as that pic shows the baby with legs apart showing their wares to the world. You can see the baby's bum too. Even though head is side on, bottom half is twisted upwards.

Teaandcake I say girl for yours I read that nub theory of the nub is straight it's a girl if the nub is bent up more than 30 degrees it's a boy? I'm no expert tho haha x

Have you tried weeing on bicarbonate of soda? If it fizzes it's a boy and if it's flat it's a girl.
