Positive test 10 days after conception?

Continuing the very boring story of my unplanned 4th pg. Been to docs today and she reckons that maybe I had a really short cycle and that the period of 23/10 was genuine, got caught with the unprotected sex just after this, mini-bleed was implantation, which leaves me just 6 weeks. However, think I tested on 10/11 which means a postitive test just 10 days after sex. This seems a bit mad to me?

Says she will refer me for a scan anyway, but may not be straight away. Feel in my bones I could be a bit further on, though this does make more sense as we had been careful up to then.

Are you all asleep yet?

Only the scan will tell you for sure, but I had a positive test result 10 days after conception and I'm currently 15wks pg (dates confirmed with 3 scans!). It is entirely feasible, especially with the ultra-sensitivity of pg tests nowadays.

lol niceglasses!

My last period started on 10/10, and I was fairly sure I was pg by 3/11. We think the Deed that Hit the Spot was on 22/10. However I didn't test until 13/11 when I got a very faint positive (at the GPs). I had to go back for a repeat test today.

So I guess if I had tested on 3/11 I would have got a neg, and that's 11 days after conception. I got a very faint positive three weeks after conception.

Is that any help or have I just muddied the waters further??

Ummm maybe...just the test I did 10 days after conception was very positive - not slightest bit vague. Who knows eh? I'm up the duff one way or another.

That's the great thing about scans - they can be so accurate at dating where you are at

It's just the waiting though, isn't it? Hard not to sit andwonder exactly what is happening in there...!

My date changed 3 times with my scan. Probably best to wait and see
