So tired looks like I'm in for a 3 week labour

37+4. 3rd baby. Last dc is 6.5
Niggly period pains from 6pm-8pm, managed to sleep tho restless, from 12.30am-5.30am constant period pain with odd Braxton hick, couldn't sleep a wink, bath seemed to stop things in my stomach and since then I've a dull ache in bottom of my back. No loss of waters and increased amount of discharge yesterday but not mucus like...hoping baby comes soon but got a feeling I'll go over, just want a sleep x

I'm going through exactly the same. I'm 40 +2 with my first baby. Pains on and off and BH since Monday. Yawnnnn

Awww bless ya, I hope you progress soon. I've just came to day unit for trace on baby as he wasn't moving. Had 5 Braxton hicks/contractions within 20 mins but as they are different strengths she wouldn't check if I was dilating or anything said to hope they lead to established labour, back is still agony

Same here.Boo. I'm 39+3 and I've been having strong BH and backache for two sodding weeks. Had a stretch and sweep on Wednesday and consultant said that I was between 1-2cm dilated, stretchy and "ripe" (nice) so my hopes were high but no. Just more BH and sleepless nights.

Ah I hope you go into labour soon. Don't forget that these pains lead somewhere that's what I'm telling myself haha.

I'm so nervous about the birth but I'm so ready to get it done now and meet my little one.

I had this on and off for 3 days with DC3. Then he was out in four hours (previous ones 3 days and 9 hours ) so there is hope. You may be nearly there!

Thank you, good luck to everyone. Just reading my notes and she's wrote 3/5, I can't remember if this means he's 2/5 in pelvis or 3/5 (not that it matters with 3rd babies as can bob around) x

Mine has never mentioned about how engaged baby is just always writes 'engaged' she also flippently mentioned she thinks baby is back to back too the other day. Pfff

My mw said not to worry about how engaged or not my baby's head is as she's my second. Apparently there's just soooo much more room down there with a second!

Awww coney I wonder why they should all stick to the same guidelines and we wouldn't be so confused

I know it's very annoying.

I think it's unfair that some just say what they want. She knows I'm really worried about the birth
