12 week scan

Anyone found out sex of baby at 12 week scan ... Just wondering how reliable - sonographer very good, private scan - first said boy seen potty shot etc - but then at end said still 50:50 - reading up and lots about 'angle of dangle' Etc as both can have what looks like boy bits at this stage / anyone told at early scan they were having a boy and turned out later to be a girl?

12 weeks is early to be sure. Yes. My friend at 20 weeks was told she was having a girl. She struggled with adjusting to her baby boy 20 weeks later.

I met someone yesterday that was told at 20 weeks she was having a boy. 20 weeks later, there was a lot of blue for her little girl!!!! So, I would never trust a 12week scan guess at gender!
