Hi, still have 15 weeks to go but I'm thinking about milk already! I want to be prepared. I'm going to use the cartoned milk for various reasons but just wondered which brand people use and which one they would recommend? Thanks in advance!

Have you decided what to go for OP? Have you found out which one your local all night garage stocks as suggested above? Smile

Hi guys, I didn't realise this would cause such a debate!
I've checked my local 23 hour Asda and they stock Apitmal and SMA mostly. As I'm planning on using the 70ml pre-sterilised bottles for the first few days in the hospital etc I think I'll go with Aptimal as they seem to be more widely available where I live. Thanks so much for all the helpful guidance!

A primal is fine if that's the most readily available, however it is more expensive and don't fall for the closer to bm hype, all formulas are pretty much the same Smile

A primal? Aptimal!

I mainly bf (I only mention this as I'm not sure how relevant my experience is to full time ff), but always have a couple of cartons on hand. Cow and gate as was the cheapest when I bought some cartons. I used a chillipeeps 3 in 1 teat as was easier to carry round and easier to sterilise than a bottle, has a fast flow which was fine with my ds but amazon reviews say that tesco teats fit in it, so you can replace with slower teat if needed.

We used Cow & Gate and never had any problems. Kendamil is supposed to be fab but perhaps not as accessible and slightly more expensive.

I EBF for 8 weeks then combi fed and perfect prep was brilliant- really recommend. Just ensure you're changing the filters regularly and doing the deep clean of machine in the recommended time frames.
