Hello all, I am almost 6 weeks pg and have been having very bad nausea for the last 10 days, that has been getting worse. but I have also had headaches too, generally not too bad, but this morning had very bad headahce and for the first time was sick too (rather than just nausea). Has anone else had this? I dont normally get headahces and wonder whether this is part of the same morning sickness symtpons??

I got a few. I usually get them just before a period so think it is all to do with hormones. You can take paracetmol. hth

Hi newby, I am 8 weeks p.g , and have been getting really bad headaches too, which I certainly didnt suffer from before. I ve just taken paracetamol, and made sure ive had plenty of water,as being dehydrated may be part of thereason.

Hi i also used to get bad headaches, my midwife said it may be due to dehydration so I upped my fluid intake, but this didn't make it much better. I kept a food diary and saw that the only constant thing I had each day was cereal with milk, I eliminated this and tada the headaches disappeared. I doubt it was the rice krispies so have put it down to the milk and try and get my calciium from other sources.

Headaches are q. common during the 1st trimester. I usu. don't get many headaches at all but every pg. - now on 4th (6 wks too!) I get really bad ones most days over wks. 6 - 11ish. They do settle down - it's pg. hormones. Hope you start to feel better soon.
