Would you call the midwife? Belly pain at 22 weeks

I don't want to waste the midwife's time if this is trivial. I did a comedy stumble in the street this morning - where you trip and go flying for a few steps before you right yourself.

Thought nothing of it at the time, but since then I've had an almost constant crampy ache in my belly. It feels deep if that makes sense, not the usual stretching feeling.

I also have an anterior placenta and rarely feel the baby - certainly nothing that I can definitely say is a kick for example. I've felt nothing all day, although that's not at all unusual.

Is this the type of thing where it's appropriate to call? Don't want to sound neurotic!

Yes call them just to put your mind at rest. Probably nothing but might be something Smile

Yes ring, its the midwifes job! If you waste her time so what, you 'll feel lot worse if it is something and you don't ring, Although I'm sure it not.

Yes give them a ring. All will more than likely be fine but best to put your mind at rest rather than you spending time worrying!

Sure its a pulled muscle, you didnt hit your bump, but do give them a call to put your mind at ease

Thanks everyone! It was indeed just pulled muscles (seriously, had no idea you could even pull muscles there!) but as I don't feel the baby they asked me to go to Maternity Assessment and get checked out.

All fine and will be watching out for pesky potholes in future!
