This evening the baby has been so active which is unusual for it. For over an hour it has been pretty much constantly moving - has anyone else had this and should I be concerned?

please ring the maternity unit and get checked, any increase or decrease in movements can mean the baby is in distress. it may well be nothing but best to get checked.

I agree, ring and ask to be checked. Likely to be all ok, but do get checked.

Let us know how you go

Thank you, I phoned and they said not to worry it's probably just the heat! Will keep an eye on it tonight/tomorrow as well and call back if I am concerned.

Erm no, ask to be monitored. It is normal for you and a "probably just the heat" is unlikely. You should always err on the side of caution with a change in your usual movement whether it be fewer or more.
