So I was examined after pain this morning and I'm 2cm. Since I've been examined the baby has been moving so much! There a little painful movements but not contractions now. She said I'm in low labour.

What do I expect to happen now?

Slow labour

Could go either way for you - intermittent contractions slowly building up to more regular ones over the next day or so. Or it could slow right down and take a few more days. Or you could speed up a lot quicker. Only time will tell! Expect the unexpected. Try going for a walk, have lots of rest and eat and drink plenty whilst you can. This might last days or you could be going into more active labour tonight.....only your body is in control of that.

If you're worried about movements of baby, speak to your midwife again
