Just fell in my office- my fault for wearing heels!!!- 33 weeks along and part of the weight fell on my bump. Feel okay but still a bit freaked and would love any feedback. Thanks- Jennie

I think the baby is very well protected but just to put your mind at rest I would ring the midwife and ask her.

You should be absolutely fine - the baby is well cushioned by the water and womb surrounding it. As long as you do not have any pain, bleeding and the baby is moving, there is no need to worry. Get better footwear though as your centre of balance goes in latter stages of pregnancy.

Just to add on with a better safe than sorry message. Went to the hospital to be checked out and it turned out that I was having very mild contractions (couldn't feel them) and they kept me overnight for monitoring. This was rather stressful, but in the end they think the stress of the fall caused this. The positive news is got the all clear this morning. Was a rather stressful 24 hours but still glad to have asked than not. Thanks!
