6 weeks since conception- when do I add the 'extra 2 weeks' on?

I posted about my dates before but still need something cleared up!

I'm exactly 6 weeks since conception, am 100% sure of date.

But they add 2 weeks on, is that before or after the 12 week scan when they give you the official edd?

Sorry!

Add it on now. You are 8 weeks pregnant. Congratulations!

Just do it by the first day of your last menstrual cycle and your get you delivery date and then that's already your extra 2 weeks so instead of saying your 6 weeks your actually 8 weeks as by saying your 6 weeks means they will leave you another 6before 12 weeks scan instead of only four more week til 12 week scan.

Its the date of your last period .... two weeks later your pregnant ... so technically two weeks where you werent pregnant you were ... mmmm

Add two weeks.

I was the same - knew exact date, no surprise at dating scan.

You'll probably get a quick dating scan round about now & then actual 12 weeks when it's the proper date (that's what happened to me with 90 day cycles)
