Worried

I'm currently 27+5. Had my 28 week appointment yesterday which was the first time they measured my bump. The measurement came in just under the 10th centile so I've now been referred for another scan (waiting to hear when). Should I be worried?

No don't worry until you know for certain you have something to worry about. The measurements the mw do are often out, even if baby is small, there may be factors why...how tall are you and dad? What position baby was in etc. I'm surprised they are scanning you after only 1 measurement (but guess that's lucky as you'll get to see baby again ) a girl I know, her bump "hadn't grown" between 32-36 weeks, in fact at one point it had shrunk. Growth scan revealed a healthy baby weighing 7lb at 37 weeks, I on the other hand are measuring 39 weeks at 35 and they aren't worried one bit as he's always measured 4-5 weeks ahead. Said they'll only worry if he doesn't follow the line of growth he's currently on x
