How to stop a nose bleed?

I don't normally get nose bleeds, last one was when I was pregnant with DS, I am now 38 weeks with no.2 and woke up with a heavy nose bleed this morning. I am not worried about the bleed itself and it has slowed down now, but, and sorry for TMI, I can feel/taste it running down the back of my throat and it is horrible.

Any ideas how I can stop it?

you musnt put your head back

lean over a bowl, the sink, a towel and pinch the soft bit o fyour nose at the top where it joins your face

then you just have to wait til it stops im afraid

dont blow your nose for a few hours or itll start again

Thanks, but it isn't really pouring anymore, it is just every now and then I can feel it down my throat - sorry I know it is gross. It must be right at the back of my nose anyway because I'm not sat with my head tilted back or anything.
