My manager keeps asking me why I need to keep going to the docs. Is it time to tell him and how shall I do it?

Oh that's tough! On one hand, taking lots of doctors appointments will not look good in your probation period and the company may wish to get rid of you because of that. On the other hand telling them you are pregnant in probationary period may also make them want to find a reason to get rid of you! However... most companies will be very wary of letting you go once you have announced you are pregnant as they will have to prove they are letting you go for a different reason or they would be discriminating against you.

I think if I was in your position I would tell your manager... but ask him not to say anything yet as you have not had your dating scan and have not told family etc (even if you have). I would want him to be aware.

I just spoke to citizens advice and they said they can't get rid of me cause of being pregnant and all companies have got to let any pregnant lady onto maternity leave. They only thing is I need to be working for them for 6 months for them to pay for my maternity pay which it's 6 months next month so looks like I should be ok

No but they can let you go despite being pregnant. You might want to consider that taking time off for non specified appts and/or lying about what they are for won't look good during a probationary period and might be a reason they won't keep you on.

I think I'm going to wait till I have my scan then tell him everything. I think that's the only thing I can do really
